I stared at him as if he had grown two heads. He might as well have been an alien.
I had loved him once and he wanted to kill me. Talk about bad romance.
“What did you think would happen when you came back here?” he gritted out. “You’re a government agent, for fuck sake.”
No wonder he was so bloody pissed off.
How the hell had he found out about my job?
