I'm still sharing from my WIP, a paranormal M/M romance, with working title of Royal, and continuing from where we left off last week.
Let me refresh you memory.
Blake's car hits Jahiem (in wolf form) on a dark, rainy night on a country road. When Jaheim remains unconscious, Blake takes him home.
This snippet is from the next morning when Jaheim wakes in Blake's bed.
Pleasure spiked through me. He'd gotten my name wrong, and I didn’t care. Some people mixed up the similar sounding names. For a man with a voice as sexy as his, I'd overlook the error.
“My name is Jaheim,” I whispered in his ear, placing a kiss to his lobe. My nose grazed the coarse and stubbly close-cropped hair on his scalp.
“That’s a lovely name, but you’re still Jamil to me.”
